I visited the Beacon Diner around 6:30 PM, just as the dinner rush was beginning to pick up. The location is right off a busy street but they had tons of parking for customers. From the moment I walked in, the Beacon Diner impressed me with its cleanliness. The tiled floors gleamed under the soft overhead lighting, and the tables were spotless, with neatly arranged condiments that looked freshly wiped down. The service was prompt and welcoming. A cheerful hostess greeted me at the door and quickly guided me to a booth near the window. Within moments, my server appeared with a genuine smile, offering menus and water. Throughout the meal, she held the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving me space to enjoy my food. My order arrived promptly, and any questions I had about the menu were met with helpful and knowledgeable responses. The pricing was average for a diner but didn't break the bank which I appreciated. Would I return? Absolutely and next time, I'll make sure to try their breakfast menu, which I hear is just as spectacular.

We stopped by this restaurant on our way to a football game. The place was nice and clean. The food was good. We didn't have to wait long. Friendly staff. But there was one thing I didn't like and it was the bathrooms. The women's bathroom was clean! But there was no seat covers. You had to use toilet paper to cover the seat. I hate that. But overall this place is nice. I would come back if I'm ever back in this area.

This is my favorite diner ! I love everything about this place. The staff, food, and the atmosphere. I usually always get the vanilla milkshake when I'm there ( which I highly recommend ). This time, I got the spaghetti with meatball balls. The plate consists of two large meatballs with a large portion of spaghetti. The meatballs were AMAZING and the plate had the right amount of sauce, not so much and not so little. I also had a bit of the chicken francaise and it was delicious. Right amount of citrus in it, it wasn't overpowering and allowed you to enjoy the taste of the chicken and the pasta.. our server and busser were so sweet and attentive. I love this diner and I loved the way it looked before. I miss the old decor. They have started renovating the place so it looks amazing, just a little bittersweet for me since I've been coming here for so many years. Recommend this place & I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Great matzah ball soup. Made from scratch.i love their soup and food excellent place for the whole family to enjoy great food. The also did a beautiful job on the renovations. But they have to bring back the toy train they had running.

What do you say when you're 52 and remember going here for midnight snacks with friends at 2 am 35 years ago as a teenager? The Point has a great menu with great selection. Today we tried the fried pickles with ranch sauce and the broccoli cheddar bites. They were both delish. I might have liked the pickles in thin slices rather than wedges so they were crispier but they were still yummy. The broccoli bites were delicious. They have great French fries here. One thing I love is that when you ask for a rare burger you get a rare burger - which is almost never the case anywhere. The burger is fresh and very tasty. Service could be a little better like refills on soda and getting their attention but eh it's a diner not a five star restaurant. It's reliable and very good for classic diner fare.

Recently I went to the Point Diner in Fairview, NJ.  I was in the area, and it looked like a great diner. Not to be confused with the Point 40 Diner in Monroeville. Atmosphere: When I arrived around noon, it wasn't crowded, in fact, there were only a few other parties in the restaurant.  The hostess put me in the corner which was okay, but I felt as though it was kind of weird and isolating. The Point Diner has an outdoor patio which makes it unique.  Inside there is a full-length bar, small dessert case, and plenty of booths and tables. Coffee: The coffee was good, but I could have used more.  Being in the corner, I think the waitress forgot about my table often.  I liked the coffee, and it was hot and fresh. Food: The Point Diner has everything you want or need in a diner.  They have a lot more breakfast specials that many diners including more omelets, eggs, and french toast.  The Nutella french toast sounded intriguing.  They also have plenty of lunch and dinner options too. I decided to order the steak benedict which was good.  Often times diner steak is rubbery, but the steak at the Point Diner was good.  The meal came with hash browns which tasted like regular hashbrowns. Dessert: I decided to get a cookie to go.  The cookie was good. I ate it about halfway through my hike.  If the cookie tasted lousy midway through a hike, you know it was terrible to start with. Service: While the waitress was friendly, I felt as though sitting in the back made her overlook our table frequently.  I could have used more drink refills.  I was surprised about the length of time it took for food to come with how quiet the restaurant was too. Overall Thoughts/Summary: I liked the Point Diner and would go back.  I thought I was a good diner and in the top half of diners I've been too.
